For two decades, the Shaw Contract Design Awards have recognised design that does more—projects that spark creativity, connect communities, and contribute to a better, more sustainable world.

 

Now in our 20th year, we celebrate not just where we’ve been—but the extraordinary future that design can help create. 

 

How the Program Works

Call For Entries

Share your design with the world by submitting your project via our website. June 5, 2025 through July 25, 2025. 

Best of Region

All projects entered will proceed to the first stage of judging where an elite panel of design leaders will collaborate in each region to select the Best of Region winners.

Best of Globe

Each Best of Region winner will proceed to the next stage of judging where an international judging panel will award the very best, our Best of Globe winners. 

Best of Region

All projects entered will proceed to the first stage of judging; where an elite panel of design leaders will collaborate in each region to select the Best of Region winners. Regional judging will include the following categories:

Best of Globe

Each Best of Region winner will proceed to the next stage of judging, where an international judging panel will award the very best; our Best of Globe winners.

Best of Globe winners will be announced November 2025. 

Entry Criteria

Eligibility

Projects must have a completion date between 1st January 2023 and 4th June 2025, and include at least one Shaw Contract product in the project.

Cost

There is no cost to enter, and there is no limit on the number of entries allowed per firm.

Best of Globe Prize

All Best of Globe Winners will receive a trophy to commend the achievement. Best of Globe Winners will be promoted in Shaw Contract marketing materials globally, as well as being featured in a media campaign with leading international Architecture & Design publications. . 

Each Best of Globe firm will also receive a $2,000 USD charitable donation to be awarded in their name to an organisation of its choice.
