Ray Chuang’s honors include prizes from the 2023 iF Design Awards, 2022 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, 2022 IDEA Awards, 2021 IDA Honorable Mention, 2021 Berlin Design Awards, 2021 IDA Awards, 2020 IPA Awards, 2020 ASIA PACIFIC PROPERTY AWARDS, 2019 Gold Key Awards, 2019 SBID International Design Awards, 2019 Architecture & Design Trophy Award, 2007 Hospitality Design Award, 2006 Hospitality Design Award, 2006 IIDA Competition Award, 2006 Angelo Donghia Foundation Award, 2006 P.A.V.E. Retail Design Competition, and 2005 Johnson & Johnson Design Competition and 2005 Ronald & Anne Lubman Foundation Award.

He has nearly 17 years of experience in hotel interior design, many international well-known hotel projects were designed by him. His professional training and solid project management experience has provided him a comprehensive knowledge of each process, from architectures to interior design. Besides, he has a background in Fine Art. He has artistic design sense and international experience to generate creative design concept and pay great tribute to the project.

Prior to joining CCD, he graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology with BFA degree in Interior Design major in New York，worked with internationally esteemed design firms in New York after graduation, such as Rockwell Group, and Jeffrey Beers International, etc.

Graduated from Donghua University, Master of Arts. With passion and love for design work, has more than 20 years of working experience in the field of interior design. Over the years, Helen and her design team have completed hundreds of outstanding interior design projects, many of which have won national and international awards.

Helen believes that architectural space and indoor environment have a profound impact on users, not only functional excellence, environmental health, but also need to integrate into the use of the philosophy and concept of the builder. Good design should not only focus on the present, but also focus on the future. In addition to industrial and office projects, Helen is also an expert in educational projects, with many years of experience, and has been committed to creating a good learning environment for students, creating a better learning atmosphere, and fueling their growth.

Karen has been the Design Director of Architecture Farm, a multi-disciplinary interior design practice in Shanghai. The firm’s works have been guided the principle of integration of architecture and Interior, and dialogue with culture and history in contemporary design.

To ensure seamless execution and ultimately a project’s success, she believes in building strong teams that maintain effective communication and close collaboration.  With over 23 years of experience in workplace design throughout major cities in China and Asia Pacific, Karen firmly believes in sound design principles in search of inspiration and creativity, leading her design team to pay close attention to context, function, aesthetic, as well as quality of materials and execution of details, delivering high level of professionalism.
